Ultrasound #1. Week 13

We saw our little baby for the very first time on January 8th, 2014 at 2:13pm. Bryce was sitting next to the table that I was laying on and was instantly like “wow! it’s actually a baby.” He wasn’t expecting to see a shape with fingers and toes. Baby had his/her arms & hands up by the head so they weren’t visible in the ultrasound images that were printed off, but we got to see them from all angles. We laughed that baby slept like our lab (on the back with all limbs up & out). Ha. I was trying so hard to not move around & laugh because it would jiggle the screen, but I was so happy to see a healthy baby with 2 hands, 2 feet, toes, & fingers in my belly. Baby was sleeping, but we got to see him/her jump one time. So precious!
If I could go back, I would ask for pictures at certain angles in order to see the arms & legs better, but I’ll take what I get for now. Already so excited for our next ultrasound because it will be the gender reveal.

Next Ultrasound: The gender reveal on February 19th! I’ll post a censored image because the gender won’t be revealed until an undisclosed time (can anyone say “gender reveal party??”).

  1. YAY!!! Baby!!! So adorable!!! I’m so happy for you!!! Trust me, you will be hearing that a lot over the next few months!!!

    • Yeah I’ve been hearing a lot of things since I’ve announced my pregnancy, but I don’t really get irritated by it. I’m happy that people are excited about baby! I can’t wait until we know the gender so we can start saying ‘he’ or ‘she’ and finalize a name.
